New OpaVote Features

Hello OpaVote and OpenSTV supporters,

OpaVote now allows you to upload a ballot file, count the ballots (using OpenSTV behind the scenes), and then display the results using bar charts. You can see an example here based on the 2007 Scottish STV elections.

The primary use cases for this are:
(1) You hold an election with OpaVote but you need to add ballots collected in other ways (e.g., paper ballots) before announcing the official results.
(2) You collect all of your ballots in other ways, but you want a way to share detailed election results with voters.

Currently, you can keep your election results online for two weeks. For US$5, you can extend by 4 weeks. I'm currently paying Google App Engine fees myself, so this will help cover my expenses.

Other major new features of OpaVote include supporting election results for Condorcet elections. Lots of other minor improvements including improving the user interface.

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated.
